The issue everyone is going to run into is Windows XP will be on all the old industrial computers that no one can upgrade. A new driver and software could possibly be developed, but that would cost around $10k for a machine that's been running forever. It's been in place for over ten years and the only reason it's down is the hard drive froze and died during a power surge. The lathe itself is about $200k to rebuild on the low end.
